In '04, a report commissioned by National Institute of Justice found that if the ban was renewed, effects on gun violence would likely be small & perhaps 2 small 4 reliable measurement, b/c rifles, including rifles referred to as "assault rifles", are rarely used in gun crimes.

We need to get rid of all magazine-fed semi-autos period. Everyone can hunt/defend with revolvers, shotguns, and bolt rifles but you can't do mass shootings with them. Would reduce gang violence as well as it'd be harder for gangs to illegally import from loose gun law states.
