Gun massacres fell by 37% and gun deaths fell by 43% when compared to the decade prior to the ban being enacted. In the decade that followed the ban’s expiration, gun massacres rose by 183% and gun deaths rose by 239%.

Multiple polls show that the majority of Americans support it. Police chiefs on the front lines of gun violence across the nation support it. It’s time for Senate Republicans to as well. We’ve beaten the NRA before and we need to beat them again. Lives depend on it.

Exactly, the scary guns. The term is a made up one that was defined by
@SenFeinstein. The military does not refer to the military M-16 version as an assult weapon but you've elected to call it that. The "AR-15" is ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. - 1 more reply
