  More #LIES from Fineswine. The government's own study found the ban had no measurable effect on crime because (1) the banned weapons were used infrequently by criminals even before the ban, and (2) the ban focused on cosmetic features that had no bearing on lethality. #LIAR

  All told, five mass shootings that took place with “assault weapons” in the decade before the ban, and three that took place during its tenure. These numbers are far too small for any sort of statistical inference, especially if you’re trying to build a case for new banning.
