Let’s Quintuple or sextuple the tax applied to firearms. As well as sextuple the tax on ammunition. Pass universal background checks and end gun show loopholes.
There are many actions that businesses can take to make us safer. Walmart halting sales of handgun ammunition, including the caliber used in military-style assault weapons, is a positive move. It is time for Corporations and their shareholders realize that time has come to request CEO’s to have decent profits but not on account of harming providers, workers and general interest. Otherwise, they will have no purpose and will be replaced.

I would think having a mental health system that does not have a revolving door policy would make everyone safer. We have the meds to treat mental illness but they need a support team for months to get stabilized. The blame is on politicians and the systems they embrace.

Guns are not the issue. It's the user. There needs to be better regulation on who can have a gun. I don't own any. My fear is that if all give up their guns then only the government will have guns. That is frightening to me.
