The shooter in Dayton had a 100 round magazine that enabled him to fire 41 bullets in 32 seconds. Weapons capable of such damage should not be on our streets. The time to ban high capacity magazines is now.

Explain to me: Why were assault weapons, Banned for a period of time, and not permanently? It’s not like assault weapons, will become safe. After a period of time.

Senator with respect this argument is a little nonsensical. If that shooter had 30 round mags he could fire the same number in maybe 34 seconds instead of 32. If he had 10 round mags maybe 40 seconds. Banning magazines won’t do anything! Ban all semi-autos!
