They’re designed for defense against the government. If you actually thought we had concentration camps on our border you’d understand that.
A 100 round magazine allowed the Dayton shooter to fire 41 bullets in 32 seconds. High capacity magazines are unnecessary for hunting or home protection. They’re designed for one purpose: firing as many bullets as possible as fast as possible. They don’t belong on our streets.

Our government has tanks and drones. If we were really ever in a situation where we needed to fight back against a tyrannical government, those weapons wouldn’t make much of a difference anyway.
