When I was young, it was easy to get a gun — even from hardware stores. All boys had toy guns. On TV, we had Bonanza, The Rifleman, and Gunsmoke. But, we had NO mass shootings. Guns aren’t the problem. The hatred taught in public schools is the problem. FIX THE REAL PROBLEM.
It took the Dayton shooter less than 30 seconds to shoot 35 people. In just one week, 34 people lost their lives in three mass shootings. Now is the time for decisive action, now is the time to save lives. We must reinstate a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.
