For example, in one West Virginia town of 392 people, a single pharmacy received 9 million pills in one year. That’s unacceptable. Our law helps prevent this by requiring DEA to provide information on opioid orders to manufactures and distributors.http://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?p=press-releases&id=539044FF-C2E9-4144-84D8-775F988DA5BC …

I know, look at the streets if CA, lined with drug paraphanalia, feces and homeless encampments. Terrible, find a congress person from CA and ask them why.

We need to keep these drugs out of DR‘s hands and for-profit pharmaceutical companies that we must be careful not to vilify the people that desperately really need them n use them strictly as prescribed by reputable doctors. Don’t miss the forest for the trees

Yeah. Let me tell you how it feels as a legit pain patient to be receiving constant BS “reports” on my prescriptions which jeopardize my care. I have voted for you since forever. I am , however, beyond sick and tired of over regulating pain patients

Please use caution in regulating opioids there are so many people who legitimately need them. Abuse is a critical issue but no one shoves the pills down anyone's throat. Decriminalization is key as is treatment

There are a lot of bona fide pain patients suffering daily, in extreme pain, because your campaign to stop the use of illicit drugs is affecting them. You can't take away the medicines which have been used for years to control pain. You are doing it all wrong.

I looked thru the bill and from what I gathered this deals exclusively with manufacturers and pharmacies reporting prescriptions. I think for the most part this will be used to deal with situations like we had in the past were a town with 400 people had 500,000 prescriptions.

While I support this, please be sure those with chronic pain are not left to fend for themselves. That would be cruel.
