I have a 3" scar running from the outside of my right eye, down around my cheek, because of skin cancer. 25+ years of CA life didn't help! While it is easily cured by removal, PLEASE don't count on sunscreen to protect you. Wear protective clothing and wide-brim hats!

My grandparents (who spent a LOT of time outdoors) often had skin cancers removed from the faces & hands in their later years. Now my mother is 85 & SHE often has them removed (she did NOT spend a lot of time outdoors). I know that's what's in store for me, too.
