I was just thinking the same! I am a horse lady and ALL about saving horses and animals lives.... but, there comes a time when other issues must take priority! Same can be said about our veterans and homeless right now too.

No one ever wants or expects horses to die while training, racing, or while involved in any other human equine activities. I will agree though that we can & must do better to prevent equine injuries especially catastrophic ones.
