The DOT cancelling nearly $1 billion in funds for high speed rail is deeply concerning. I agree with the governor that California should take this to court. Congress appropriated these funds and the president obligated them. They can’t be legally withdrawn without good cause.pic.twitter.com/VnZNSTObB0

The cronytrain is a scam that should be a class A felony for bilking taxpayers out of billions of dollars for a fraudulent slow speed rail bait and switch designed to line the pockets of criminal politicians in Sacramento.

There is good cause, the CHSRA “repeatedly failed to comply with the terms” of its grant“ “failed to make reasonable progress on the Project,” and “abandoned its original vision” per the Federal Railroad Admin

I'm pretty sure the billions of dollars of cost overruns, the state of CA failing to meet it's obligations for progress, projected losses cause people won't use it are good reasons to ax it. You know just like how funding for the F-22 was cancelled after massive cost overruns

The DEEPLY concerning part is when the Democrat-controlled California Legislature approved the project despite all the expert testimony against it. I think the federal gov't can find PLENTY OF CAUSE. This is from 2008.pic.twitter.com/QIae0lcuDY

Um, good cause? There should be an investigation on how much money has been spent vs. how much rail has been built. Bc the two don't add up.
