Senate Republicans held a vote on a judicial nominee over the objection of BOTH home-state senators. Neither @SenKamalaHarris nor I have returned a blue slip on Kenneth Lee. A Senate Judiciary Committee ranking member’s blue slip has never been ignored before.
Lee repeatedly failed to turn over more than 75 controversial writings and submitted many only after we identified them. Lee took controversial positions in these writings on race, civil rights and voting rights. His lack of candor with the committee should concern all senators.
Mr. Lee’s record shows that he is far outside the legal mainstream. Given the positions he has taken in dozens of articles — and given his failure to disclose writings to my commission and to this Committee — I cannot support Mr. Lee’s nomination to the Ninth Circuit.
Do more than tweet. Scream on the Senate Floor! Make some damn noise!

Mitch doesn’t care about precedence, the law of America. He’s Mitch and party first. Until he’s voted out or his fellow senators find a way to change that, doesn’t matter.
What they’ve done is just infuriating me. I am so frustrated and feel so helpless. So much damage can be done before 2020. Vote them all out. They have no morals or ethics anymore. It’s all about party and not country. What about their oath to uphold the Constitution?
The tyranny of the minority is killing my State and its sovereignty. Californians have had enough. We will not go down with bad decisions from stolen court seats, including @SCOTUS. We must begin to block every GOP action. They must be brought to bear for their anti democracy.
The gop doesn’t care about anything but power.
