Insurers overcompensated when they raised premiums last year. Since the ACA requires insurers to spend 80% of premiums on care, they now have to refund patients nearly $800 million. Despite the president’s attacks, the ACA is still providing millions with affordable health care.

We should be working to strengthen the ACA. Instead the president continues to jeopardize coverage for millions of Americans, many among our most vulnerable, that rely on the ACA’s protections to receive quality, affordable health care.
