Republicans have achieved this record pace by killing the blue slip, ignoring home-state senators, pushing multiple nominees per hearing & failing to thoroughly vet unqualified nominees. Now they say they must break the rules to move nominees even faster. There is no obstruction.

Republicans breaking Senate rules is just the latest effort to pack the federal court system with young, conservative ideologues. Republicans are already moving these nominees quickly. In fact, the average debate time for judicial nominees is just 3.1 hours.

Unfortunately until McConnell the self appointed king of the Senate blocked Obama as he promised & changes rules for DJT retires or is voted out, the legal system of our children’s future is compromised.

Nobody's talking about this anywhere. This will do more damage to USA then even trump could in 4 years. The mindset of his choices is that of someone in the 1950s. They want to take us backwards not forwards.

Over the past two years, Schumer agreed several one-sided deals letting McConnell confirm dozens of Trump judges. Senator Feinstein, you didn’t say EVEN ONE WORD objecting to these deals. You can’t blame Republicans when you’re complicit with them.https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/10/12/17965704/senate-midterms-judges-schumer-mcconnell …
