We’re just beginning to transition to zero-emission vehicles and many are finding success in the marketplace. Extending tax credits for electric vehicles will encourage all manufacturers to continue innovating and investing in a cleaner future.https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?id=0491D317-D099-4839-B279-8A1FA5AF183E …

The are not zero-emissions vehicles. The emissions are at the power plant.

Great re-up of the $7500 EV subsidy: Outstanding improvements, Tesla lovers will appreciate - and another I've lobbied for - upfront discount on date of purchase: for the 99% who have taxes taken out of weekly payroll so can't use tax credits - Thank you!pic.twitter.com/nwnBoZSkN0

Car companies lose money on every electric care they sell. They have to jack up the cost of other cars we want to cover their loses. On the backs of tax payers we always get screwed when Democrats propose something. And we now need more electricity from fossil and coal to fuel

According to 2nd law of thermodynamics, charging electric motors via hydrocarbon power plant (stationary fuel usage) wastes >90% of that hydrocarbon fuel. Then ultimately run the car. Burns more carbon than directly using gas from car’s tank (as transportation fuel). Plz wake up!

While I applied this, "finding success in the marketplace" CANNOT be the qualifier for change. Saving the planet will not come as a side effects of neoliberal market forces. Profit will have to be abandoned as the goal. Period.
