I'm pleased the Connecticut Supreme Court is allowing a lawsuit to move forward against the manufacturer of the AR-15 assault rifle used in the Newtown shooting. This weapon is not suitable for civilian use.

The military characteristics aren’t cosmetic, they exist to allow as many rounds to be fired as quickly and as accurately as possible to kill large numbers of people. This weapon should not be available for any civilian to purchase with few if any checks.pic.twitter.com/awSmgi0eW4

Sad day in the USA, when a company is held responsible for the actions of an individual. Democrats simply refuse to hold any individual responsible for their actions. + this is just another way for Democrats to have firearms taken from law abiding citizens.

Your an idiot if you think the gun or the manufacturer are the problem!!! I'm in the military and I own an AR-15. My gun nor the manufacturer of my gun have not killed anyone. And honestly there are a lot more guns out there that are more lethal than the AR-15. Stop blaming Guns!

Ridiculous! Semi automatic weapons = 1 trigger pull /one bullet.. Same as 90% of weapons on the market. This ruling is about the "looks" of the gun, not the purpose.

The semi automatic weapons you are attempting to ban are Not military grade weapons. They may look like the weapons used by the military, however they only fire one bullet for every pull of the trigger. There are other guns that function in a similar fashion which are banned.
