NEW: Four of my bills have been signed into law as a part of a lands package. These bills secure new protections for our desert, create California’s first National Heritage Area, develop new ways to manage the Santa Ana Wash & facilitate safety upgrades to the Contra Costa Canal.
I’m particularly pleased our effort to better protect and manage the desert is now complete.
