Senator Dianne Feinstein Retweeted The Washington Post

We already knew President Trump’s trade war is unnecessary & doing far more to harm American farmers & manufacturers than help, but now it’s clear it isn't even helping his stated goal of reducing trade deficits. In fact, his policies have made them worse.https://twitter.com/washingtonpost/status/1103376471219937280 …

If Trump wins in 2020 people will wish they had studied the Smoot–Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 more closely.

You're still as slow as ever, aren't you Feinstein. We are running trade deficits because of a strong dollar and vibrant economy. Perhaps you should stick to crafting fake dunning letters you can race into senate hearings with, waving them aloft at the 11th hour.

Isn’t this MISLEADING! A trade deficit means we are doing better and buying more stuff

Buying more imports with your new found wage increases doesn’t mean your doing well. It means your becoming more dependent on imports.

Ya know what would be great? If congress took back its traditional role of overseeing trade. Including lifting tariffs on Canada. Security threat? GTFOOH

Senator, You are the generation that made it easy for all manufacturing to go overseas. Your generation did this to the USA.
