Today’s decision by a second federal judge to block a citizenship question on the #2020Census reaffirms what I have long said — asking a citizenship question is bad for accuracy and bad for California. There must be a full and accurate count without political interference.

The Census does not just determine voting districts. It also determines how much federal funding goes to roads and transit, where to build housing, schools, hospitals. Businesses even use it to determine where to create jobs. Counting everyone is essential, including noncitizens.

@GOP seems to have sworn off theirs. -
All human rights advocates will agree with you. Basic services will under-perform without accurate data, regardless of ‘citizenship.’ Basic human needs transcend nationality.

Of course its bad for California. If we take All of the illegal votes out, like they should be, then the state might actually turn AMERICAN RED! I FOUGHT FOR 13 YEARS IN THE ARMY TO KEEP AMERICANS RIGHT TO VOTE FOR AMERICANS, NOT PEOPLE THAT BROKE OUR LAWS ENTERING THE USA
