In the 100 years before President Trump took office, only five judges had ever been confirmed with only one blue slip and the last one was in 1989. Democrats have NEVER confirmed a judicial nominee over the objection of a Republican senator who refused to return a blue slip.
In just over TWO years, Republicans have held hearings for TEN circuit court nominees and confirmed FOUR over the objection of their Democratic home-state senators. That’s double the number of circuit judges confirmed without both blue slips in the previous CENTURY.
Republicans demanded President Obama respect their blue slips—while using them to block his nominees—keeping vacancies open for years. Standards should not be changed simply because a different party holds the White House.

I must have missed that blue slip provision in the Constitution.
Then the SENATE is broken. If one person i.e. McConnell can wreck such havoc it's broken. Totalitarian is what it is. Mitch is compromised and we know how many of his relatives now have jobs in the govt. We know Elaine Chao is granting KY favors beyond what's right.

we are in crazy times. The GOP needs to be completely blown out of government for a while. They are destructive to the national interest.
Not "for awhile". But forever.
In short, we should keep the filibuster and not do anything drastic on health care or climate policy, because we don't want Republicans to violate norms in response.
But when (God willing) the Democrats take over again in 2021, the one thing that can be depended on is Mitch McConnell, should he not be voted out, will be demanding the Democrats return to the norms he will have denied ever violating.
That's why we must demand they #Nullify2016. You CANNOT commit felonies to steal the WH and keep it, nor can you pass it on. #TrumpIsIllegitimate and the GOP has NO claim to a stolen Presidency. Every nomination, appointment, EO, etc. must be void. #SheWon #SwearHerIn
