Underwriters don’t call and say “I’d love to approve this loan but I need to know the ethnicity of the applicant.” It’s about credit score, income and payment history, not about heritage. An African American neurosurgeon would likely be approved for a loan before you or I would.

I just bought a house. I wasnt asked my race. My credit score, down payment and income were factors in my loan terms.
