The Senate is now debating a bipartisan public lands package. We were able to include some important California priorities that will hopefully pass the Senate and House soon.

The lands package includes our desert bill that will ensure the California desert is preserved for generations to come. It protects 375,000 acres of wilderness, establishes 6 permanent off-highway vehicle areas and adds 42,0000 acres to Joshua Tree & Death Valley National Parks.

We do not need more public lands to take care of in California! Federal Government has not taken care of what we have now. Wildfires are the best example! One of the biggest cost of Housing is land. Why do we need so much land dedicated to Parks?

Because the ore land the government owns, the more power they have. Can't go start a homestead if there's no land left for sale. Now people will be stuck assimilating to cities and turning into sheep.

I hope it includes funds to repair the damage done to Joshua Tree during the ridiculous Trump shutdown ! PS please bring attention to the dire need to stop the bulldozers in the National Butterfly sanctuary in Mission TX !
