I saw some of her answers at her confirmation today. I don't believe her at all. This is absolutely disturbing!
Neomi Rao has led the Trump administration’s efforts to abolish regulations protecting consumers, the environment and students. This is particularly concerning to me because one of those regulations is based on landmark legislation I authored to increase fuel economy standards.

And when cars get that high mileage mark, fuel prices will likely jump up considerably so the oil companies can keep making the same money. It’s like the E85...cheaper but you use more of it so you spend the same money or more.
