Fact check: Drugs most responsible for the current epidemic like heroin and fentanyl are largely smuggled through ports of entry. A border wall would not stop these drugs from coming into the country.https://bit.ly/2LZKeD4

The most dangerous drugs in the opioid crisis killing thousands are distributed by pharmaceutical companies like Merck and Pfizer. The president just gave them all massive tax breaks.

Since you all know this, why won't you stop it? Sounds like you all know where, when and how but still allow drugs to enter. Do something instead of talk.

Just think. If we Americans didn't have such an appetite for all these drugs there wouldn't be a drug smuggling problem.

So you’re saying 49.9% don’t come through portals. You’re right, we shouldn’t worry about 49.9%. Thanks for your concern.

Ending the drug war, providing universal mental health treatment for substance use disorder, medication assisted treatment, safe injections sites, you know things that work in other countries, could be done here. Maybe propose that. Maybe Medicare for All & end drug prohibition?

I am a disabled vet. I have had chronic pain and surgeries for 30 years. Dont legislate people with long term pain out of getting help they need. Attacking Doctors, pharmacists, and insurance is not the answer.

It's wrong to keep people whom need opioids off of them just because of people that abuse them. And that's not going to stop people from abusing anyhow- addicts will find a way to use until they decide they don't want to anymore.
