That’s why I’m proud to introduce the Assault Weapons Ban of 2019. This bill bans the sale, manufacture, transfer and importation of 205 military-style assault weapons by name.
It also bans any assault weapon that accepts a detachable magazine and has one or more military characteristics including a pistol grip, a forward grip, a barrel shroud, a threaded barrel or a folding or telescoping stock.
And it bans magazines and other ammunition feeding devices that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition, which allow shooters to quickly fire many rounds without needing to reload. Last I checked, you work for the American people and swore to uphold the Constitution. Don’t like your job, then quit and we’d all be better off. Don’t try to sell lies to pass a bill only bc your failed state of CA has erroneously passed similar bills causing a spike in crime.

Pistol grips, fore grips, barrel shrouds, muzzle devices, and telescoping stocks all make firearms more accurate and thus safer to employ for self-defense and more humane when hunting. Denying us access to the best tools for self-defense is denying us our right to self-defense.
Tell me what a barrel shroud is, in detail. Not your twonk interns manning the twitter machine but you... seriously. Identify any of these things listed and define what they do that makes them more deadly than say, a 12 guage shotgun that can be infinitely more devastating.
