Instead of wasting time on this unconstitutional bill, the Senate should instead focus on reopening the government by voting on the federal funding package the House passed last week.

Enabling the citizens of the US (through their elected government) to choose not to fund or subsidize organizations which enact antisemitic policies, will strengthen the American democracy. Not giving the citizens this choice will weaken democracy and strengthen racism.
