Six years ago today, when 20 children and 6 teachers were gunned down at Sandy Hook Elementary School, I thought this is it, this is as low as we go. This is when we finally start to address the epidemic of gun violence. Sadly, that wasn’t the case and shootings have continued.
An entire generation of young people is growing up with the very real threat of gun violence at school. The number of gun deaths in this country rises every year. But we've done nothing to close loopholes that allow so many firearms to flood our streets.
We haven’t forgotten the 26 lives lost at Sandy Hook, nor will we. We must pass commonsense gun laws to reduce gun violence and help prevent mass shootings from happening. The absolute least we owe those kids is real gun reform.
And today, in their NEW building, they got a death threat which closed the school. No words. Find that monster.
please explain to us how a bomb threat was just called in to a school that was demolished after the tragedy?

You put all your effort into taking guns away from good people and no effort into getting them out of the hands of bad people.
