Senator Dianne Feinstein Retweeted The Washington Post

The Trump administration’s proposed rules governing sexual assault on college campuses will silence victims and schools will have less responsibility to keep students safe. We refuse to let this administration drown out the voices of victims in favor of their accusers.https://twitter.com/washingtonpost/status/1063449757685858305 …

    Senator Dianne Feinstein added,

Betsy DeVos releases sexual assault rules she hails as balancing the rights of victims and the accused. Ahead of the release, advocates for women and others charged that the rewrite will result in victims’ claims being ignored or minimized. https://wapo.st/2DHRMJ1

And rules the Obama Administration put into place basically convicts the accused without due process, these new rules put into place just makes sure we don’t run college campuses like a dictatorship where you are guilty until proven innocent

In California they have silence Women for Decades. When Women files a complaint of sexual assault they immediately get $10,000 dollars. Sign a release of liability. It’s has nothing to do with Trump or Republicans. It’s the Liberals who protect Faculty. You own it. Face Up Diane

You are woefully wrong. Where are the facts to back up your statement? Because possibly some or a few settled out of court does not mean every accuser receives money just for reporting!

Why are colleges allowed to investigate anything? Shouldn't these be police matters. It would be in colleges favor to keep all reported crimes at a minimum so how can they be expected to treat them fairly?

There are two processes, the criminal process and the administrative. Colleges/Universities are investigating to determine if the accused should be sanctioned under code of conduct, this is admin process. Police do criminal process.

Please remember the 13 month long Duke LaCross team debacle. Justice works when both sides have their day in court. If a woman has been abused, she should want to see justice done for herself and potentially other woman.

If one of the accused players had no been at an ATM at the time of the assault the players would have been found guilty. There needs to be a balance between protecting the victim and those accused.
