Whitaker is also saying that Trump cannot commit obstruction of justice as he can end any investigation he wants. As you know that is illegal. Making the President above the law is defacto totalitarianism. We are in a Constitutional Crisis. The rule of law is being subverted.

Yes. The courts have upheld the right of Congress to compel the Executive Branch to preserve records, back in the Nixon days. That's why that 18 minutes of missing tape turned out to be such a big deal. :)
