Even the World Bank admits climate change exists and is related to human behavior. I am wondering what is wrong with doing things smarter and cleaner anyway? Unless oil companies choose to politicize it and recruit weak-minded people to be their apostles.
Even parts of the US government admit climate change exists too - the US military has to plan for it in its budget for coastal bases. DOJ admitted it in its brief in the children's climate change case.

I was fortunate to get to work with Smithsonian research scientists and conduct studies on ocean tide and runoff issue back in the 70's, and even back then I saw first hand how quickly things changed just based on weather conditions. That kind of change is happening now.
