The loss of these marine forests has been a hard blow to commercial fishermen and towns that thrive on tourism related to abalone and red urchin fishing. More communities are at risk as the climate continues to change.

Many Republicans refuse to admit that climate change is real, but hardworking Americans are seeing it affect their livelihoods already. From vanishing kelp forests and fish populations to increasingly intense wildfires, it’s clear we can’t wait to act.

Horrifying. I’ve been a scuba diver for 35 years. In the 90’s we’d take (harvest) the purple urchin with our knives & feed them to fish. We knew they were cutting into the kelp bed population. Groups have also been trying to replant the kelp beds with spores on tiles.

Someone is attempting to murder Democrats. Where is the outrage?! What will it take to end your business as usual attitude?

An unnerving lack of self-awareness. All of this has happened under Dianne's watch, but she doesn't for even a millisecond seem to grasp that. Somehow everything is always someone else's fault.
