Glad to see the Music Modernization Act signed into law. We fought to ensure that songwriters, artists, sound engineers and producers receive the royalties they’ve earned. The bill also gives full copyright protection for pre-1972 music without limiting public access.

I’ve been a professional musician for 30+ years. I’m interested to know if streaming royalties are addressed. Nobody buys albums anymore, so streaming is the main area of concern.

I was under the impression the bill specifically addressed streaming royalties.
