300M! isnt that almost the entire American population? I hate to believe all Americans are visually impaired.
Millions of books are published worldwide, but fewer than 10% are formatted for the blind & visually impaired. Our newly passed bill will allow the sharing of specially-formatted books globally, vastly increasing their availability to nearly 300 million visually-impaired people.

This is why all books published by Keibooks are available for Kindle so they can be read aloud by text-to-speech. I don't sell many of the ebooks, but it's outrageous that the blind only get to read the books other people think they should have access to.

Do something about poverty, healthcare, fixing broken voting system, ending corruption in politics, regulating banks. In other words something important.

Talking books are also used by people with severe physical disabilities who cannot physically handle http://books.My husband was a Quad and treasured talking books.Most don’t know Library for Blind & Disabled is Fed Program.

I'm not blind. I have dysgraphia. Audio books and the like are very helpful to me. now if I could just get speak and spell to work all day.
