Respectfully, while I don’t see what you could have done differently, may I suggest that you and all Dems abandon, indefinitely, the rhetoric of good faith when speaking to or about the GOP. They have shown, through countless acts and omissions, that they are endowed with none.

When a duly elected GOP POTUS nominates a justice, it is 'stacking the court.' When a Democrat POTUS selects a justice, it is business as usual from the 'elections have consequences club.'

You used to act in good faith. I'm a California republican, and while disagreeing with you I used to respect you. You've thrown that away. Not exclusively based upon the recent hearings - but upon the last few years of lack of a moral stance. Integrity.
