When I got laid off yrs ago, couldn't afford H/C, bought a junk plan,got the flu. I was very very sick. I knew I should be in hospital but knew ambulance & hospital stay would be very high $, could lose my handyman cheap house. Slept on couch in case I died,easier to get body out

That's so sad. It's also appalling because that's much more common than people realize. If anyone doesn't think health care access/affordability is a problem, that's what's known as "privilege" right there.

You shouldn’t have dissed “government ruined healthcare” in your town hall meeting. You lost so much support from so many people. Democrats, of which I used to be, are such slow learners.

Dems are empathetic and thoughtful learners. Not as effective as being a bull in a china shop republican but it's the nature of people who are driven by more than just instant gratification. Trashing Diane Feinstein by using a quote taken out of context is not helpful either.
