My grandma told me that back when she was young- in the 1930’s and 40’s- everyone in town knew which house you went to for an abortion. She thought it was strange people wanted to make it illegal again, because abortion had always existed, but now it was safe. Why go backward?

No, we can't go back. Women with money could get abortions one way or another. When I was in high school, getting pregnant was a shameful, much feared disaster. Young women were hidden away and forced to give up their babies. Google "Baby Scoop Era." I remember those times.

Maybe I just don't get it, but there's a good number of preventative measures one can take if one wishes to avoid pregnancy from casual sexual activity, no? It seems doubtful that even if he's appointed it will be made illegal nationwide at any point in the near future.

And before
#Conservatives answer this argument with their usual response of blaming only women for the “consequences” of “immoral sex”, perhaps they should take a look at the conduct of their own chosen leader and STOP presuming to lecture ANY woman about “personal conduct”. -
I don't think anyone could have said this any better!
