Yes...I remember smog alerts as a kid. Not being able to do PE or play outside. My kids didn’t have to experience that nearly as much.

If American cars are not in step with the rest of the world regarding exhaust emissions then they will not be able to sell outside the USA. China has banned 50 local made cars because they failed emission tests
