One thing I cannot understand: why do these so-called conservatives hate working class people so much? In Asian dramas, there's a motif that if the working class has to struggle more to survive, they won't have time to think about anything else, namely politics & economic ->

unfairness. As a result, businesses & politicians can take advantage of the working class, treating them again as virtual slaves. Before TR & FDR, that was the case in the US. Republican TR saw that if workers weren't treated better, the potential for revolution (a la Russia) ->
