Thank you for taking this up, senator! An @AmericanAir flight attendant recently tried to make us turn our 14 month old forward in her air travel approved car seat, though a crash in those conditions could be life threatening to a child her age. Luckily she backed down.

Same thing for me on
@HawaiianAir in 2014,@united later in 2014, and then@Delta in 2016. I always paid for my child's seat too. Needless to say, never flew with them again. Especially Hawaiian, they tried to charge me for the seat in front of my rear facing child seat.
