her point isn't that we should wait 28 months to nominate another justice. Her point is that we should wait until after elections this november (in 5 months)

Respectfully Senator, it's only true now if
@SenateDems MAKE it true by refusing to participate in discussions, hearings, etc. and getting at least ONE@SenateGOP to join you. It's time for wartime leadership among Dems in Congress! Make it loud, impassioned, peaceful & STRONG. -
Agreed.
#WakeUp@TheDemCoalition@JeffFlake Jeff is our only active senator in az. I respectfully request he joins this Coalition and puts $ where his mouth is. - 15 more replies

That’s a logical conclusion, but totally irrelevant. McConnell will push this through with any means, illegal or illegal, ethical or unethical, fair or unfair, available to him. It’s past time we adapted to this new reality.
-
Adapt means to get used to it. If we do that, we are all doomed. The Constitution is meaningless.

Yes, they stole a seat but we have a better argument to make. A Prez under investigation shouldn't nominate someone who could decide his fate in court. https://bit.ly/2MyW9qv

Agreed. I think Congressional Democrats are weak to make this argument because they CLAMORED (rightly) for up or down vote on Garland and now roll over and say, well, follow your rule, even though we hated it. Basically both parties are at war at all costs. There is no "rule".
