Respectfully Senator, it's only true now if @SenateDems MAKE it true by refusing to participate in discussions, hearings, etc. and getting at least ONE @SenateGOP to join you. It's time for wartime leadership among Dems in Congress! Make it loud, impassioned, peaceful & STRONG.

That’s a logical conclusion, but totally irrelevant. McConnell will push this through with any means, illegal or illegal, ethical or unethical, fair or unfair, available to him. It’s past time we adapted to this new reality.

Adapt means to get used to it. If we do that, we are all doomed. The Constitution is meaningless.

Agreed. I think Congressional Democrats are weak to make this argument because they CLAMORED (rightly) for up or down vote on Garland and now roll over and say, well, follow your rule, even though we hated it. Basically both parties are at war at all costs. There is no "rule".
