The decision by the Supreme Court’s Republican majority to uphold Pres. Trump’s travel ban is deeply disturbing. He made clear during the campaign his bias and bigotry toward Muslims, yet the court gave his statements little weight. Let this decision remind us that #CourtsMatter

That is why the supreme court should be the least partisan possible and the most objective possible. Only an independent committee should be able to appoint its judges.
