These immigration issues have plauged several presidents, all bound by the Constitution to enforce our laws. Congress makes the laws. It's high time Congress comes together to rewrite our immigration laws without partisan squabbling. You can do it, it's your job.
ICE’s own statistics show that alternatives to detention work. The president has decided to enact a policy that ignores those statistics and is creating a humanitarian crisis on our border. Detaining families indefinitely isn’t a solution.

Please call it what it is...Corruption. Trump’s cronies are making money off these suffering children. The lack of proper planning (most likely intentional) will result in many of these children becoming permanent wards of state. 1/2

Senator, we need a hearing IMMEDIATELY on trump's policy of separating families. 1. What was the governmental goal, and was the rule narrowly tailored to fit it? 2. Were parents given proper notice and due process before being separated, apparently permanently, from their kids?

3. Was due process followed for this de facto termination of parental rights? 4. Where are all the children? 5. Why isn't the process of reunification simple? 6. What records were kept in regard to removals and subsequent locations?
