  4. This is a great opportunity to fix a significant portion of the U.P.’s and state’s ailing bridges with federal funding that won’t stick our local governments or residents with the cost of doing the work.

  8. Members of the U.P.-based 254th Combat Engineer Battalion played a vital role in the Normandy Campaign. One platoon of the 254th went ashore with the first wave at Omaha Beach on D-Day. Another group of U.P. engineers joined them two days later.

  11. By the time residents get an appointment, things like licenses and plate tabs may have already expired, which brings its own problems.

  12. It is beyond time that the Michigan Secretary of State's Office reopens its branch locations for walk in service. Scheduling an appointment with the SOS is great if doing so fits a person’s needs, but that is not always the case and the state can’t assume that it does.

  18. Today, 1,200 hard hats were displayed on the Capitol lawn in Lansing. Each hat represented a steelworker that would be out of work if is shutdown by Governor Whitmer. I will continue to fight this shameful effort and do everything in my power to protect U.P. jobs + energy.
