Senator Sullivan, the regulations in place before Obama were unsportsmanlike, had no spirit of conservation, and did not protect the economic viability of Alaska. We can not rely on oil forever, but we can diversify with tourism. Tourists come to see bear and wolves.

When the state takes over management of public lands from the federal government bad things happen to public lands. I don’t trust our politicians to not give in to lobbying interests. Take a look at the timber slaughter in state managed lands.

It’s not about the economic viability of Alaska or America. They are Federal National Parks and Reserves. What the hell is wrong with you? Everything isn’t a commodity to be mined, drilling, killed, or commandeered. It was set aside to be preserved. You people suck.
