This response against Syria’s chemical weapons infrastructure was both measured and warranted, and a necessary step to deter future chemical weapons attacks, whether against innocent men, women and children or our troops deployed in the Middle East.

I commend these decisive actions and offer my prayers to the brave men and women conducting these operations this evening.

Moving forward, we must not only work with our NATO partners, but also our Arab and Israeli allies to develop a comprehensive and sustained strategy for advancing our immediate and long-term national security interests in Syria and the broader Middle East.

Since the Trump Administration lies 85% of the time, I think I'll wait to hear from trustworthy sources.

And how many village health clinics and water plants/washeterias could be built for the cost of last night's cruise missile strikes?

This was a reckless move by a desperate man that will accomplish nothing but inflate his ego and distract us momentarily from his failing presidency. Sanctions and embargos on countries supporting Assad would be more effective and less dangerous than missiles and bombs.

Right wing groups backed by the US, Israel, UK, France, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey are the ones who did the chemical weapons attacks. Quit telling lies in order to exploit my people. This is why people don't trust you.

Obama asked Congress to retaliate when Assad first used chemical weapons. The Foreign Relations Committee voted to authorize that action but only two Republican senators would publicly support it, and without congressional support, the President did not proceed
#ComplicitGOP -
The
#WarPowersAct of 1973 is clear. Without an attack on the US or its forces, the president must seek Congressional authorization to attack. But your legislating via twitter?#SyriaStrikes#Syriapic.twitter.com/3Psq6icBZB

What is the U.S. strategy for Syria? Earlier in the week it was we’re getting out of Syria, then we blow them up because they used chemicals. They’ve been killing their citizens with barrel bombs throughout. We only object if they’re killed with chemicals but not w/nails & bolts?

How about you relocate base from Anchorage, 500,000 people have target on their back because some smart guy thought it would be good idea to put military base in the heart of the biggest city in the state
