The fact that human sex trafficking is problem in America, shocks most people. The fact that it’s a growing issue – by over 800% – is unbelievable. I’m proud to support bipartisan legislation to reduce this horrible scourge and hold bad actors accountable. http://bit.ly/2DOpcla pic.twitter.com/peDio0twp3

You going to confront the President about raping 13 year olds? He's part of the 1% you gave millions of our tax money to instead. You did the same thing with Walmart. Rewarded them fore firing Alaskans. Gave them billions. We see it clearly Dan. @lisamurkowski @repdonyoung

Then maybe support legislation that actually does something about it, unlike this piece of garbage you all voted for, which will do the opposite of what you claim.

This what happens when a #GOPComplicit party pushes the USA towards the same Oligarchy system that Russia has with the #GOPTaxScam that widens the wealth gap opening opportunities for evil doers to exploit desperate people and giving the GOP the excuse to build a police state.

thanks for your focus on this issue. do you think the widening gap between rich & poor is a contributing factor to 800% increase? what steps are you taking to address income inequality? Alaska has highest unemployment rate in country and our people aren't the ones getting richer

The Senator has a long record of supporting policies that attract investment to Alaska, which in turn diversifies Alaska’s economy and ultimately generates good paying jobs and revenue for the SoA, local governments and the Permanent Fund.

Investment in AK is a good thing, but last year's tax reform bill is no friend to middle and low-income Alaskan families. It will increase the federal deficit and ultimately decrease available funding for govt services. Corporate savings have not and will not trickle down.

Perhaps. But most Alaskans are benefitting today - getting more money bc of the tax bill, utilities are lowering rates, and lower fed tax rates means that projects on AK are more economic and attractive. Also, ANWR, which DOR says could generate $60 billion for the SoA.

$60 bn from the Refuge? Literal pipedream. Maybe if it had been opened in a different way. But virtually all ANWR revenue will be diverted straight back to the Feds to fill the widening deficit. Alaskans aren't going to see that money thanks to tax reform.https://www.ktoo.org/2017/12/12/warning-left-deficit-eat-alaskas-arctic-refuge-money/ …

We will get half of royalties (about 8.5% of production) and production taxes and property taxes. We will also get lots of high paying blue collar jobs and tons of money circulating through the Alaskan economy.

State will only get that portion of revenue in the event there’s no federal deficit. Tax reform ensures there will be a federal deficit. Drilling in the Refuge will not benefit the state of Alaska — it will benefit US corporations now paying 15% taxes.
