The timing of “Tax Tweets” by @SenCoryGardner are a fascinating example of political insensitivity... it’s hard to get excited about small raises for some employees when thousands are losing jobs.

I do payroll for a small business. The only folks I see with a measurably bigger (over $25/month) paycheck are the ones in the top 5%. The rest of us can maybe buy a pie at Village Inn monthly. But by all means, give yourself a pat on the back.
