This reported action directly contradicts what Attorney General Sessions told me prior to his confirmation. With no prior notice to Congress, the Justice Department has trampled on the will of the voters in CO and other states.
I am prepared to take all steps necessary, including holding DOJ nominees, until the Attorney General lives up to the commitment he made to me prior to his confirmation.
How about demanding his resignation? Or caucasing with the Democrats? Or refusing to vote for any further retrograde GOP policy? Or taking steps to remove this whole gang of monsters from office?
Or what about this: immediately introduce bipartisan legislation to legalize marijuana at the federal level. Don’t give a liar like Sessions the power to persecute millions of peaceful citizens. Just take it off the table.
Sir, the Congress are the ones who write the nation's laws. The Executive is tasked in the Constitution with enforcing the laws that the Congress has passed. If you don't like a law being enforced, it is well within the power of the Congress to amend/change/end it.
While rule of law fell by the wayside during the Obama years, with the Executive picking and choosing which laws to enforce, which laws to wink at & ignore, or even to deliberately state it would not enforce, it is clear there is a new administration in charge now.

This is an abomination. There are dozens of the legitimate businesses that cannot federally register legitimate trademarks for their products because the federal government prohibits marijuana related registrations. This a huge economic loss. Republicans wake up.
