You do know that there are provisions in this to PREVENT the manufacturing of generic drugs, right? The last thing we need is higher drug prices. That's not going to help anyone.

Also it extends the length of copyright to 70 years beyond the death of the original author. I don't know about everyone else, but my great grandchildren probably don't need to make money off of a book I write now.
