I'll never forget the images of the brave individuals running into danger to save lives during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. NYPD Detectives Luis Alvarez, James Zadroga and FDNY firefighter Ray Pfeifer gave everything for us, and today we renamed our legislation in their honor.
